5 Injured In Stabbing Attack In Amsterdam, Police Yet To Conform Motive

Five people have sustained injuries in a stabbing incident near Amsterdam’s central Dam Square, and a suspect has been taken into custody on Thursday. A police spokesperson has not yet been able to confirm the motive behind the attack.

According to police, They currently have no information about the cause or motive of the stabbing incident. This is part of our investigation. Following the incident, the Dutch police have cordoned off an area that includes Dam Square. An emergency helicopter has been deployed, with footage circulating on social media showing the helicopter in front of the Royal Palace.

Emergency vehicles can also be seen within the restricted zone. According to local media reports, Amsterdam’s mayor Femke Halsema, abruptly left a meeting at the town hall upon receiving news of the attack.
