Gonda Eleven people died on Sunday after a Bolero carrying 15 passengers lost control and plunged into a canal in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district. According to police, the passengers were returning from a temple visit when the accident occurred. Authorities have not yet confirmed the details and identities of the victims.Taking note of the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and announced financial assistance.
“The loss of life in the unfortunate accident in the district of Gonda is extremely tragic and heart-wrenching. My condolences are with the grief-stricken families. Instructions have been given to provide financial assistance of Rs 05-05 lakh to the kin of those who lost their lives in this accident,” the Chief Minister said.
