Tim David Turns Chinnaswamy into a Water Park | WATCH VIDEO

Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) star all-rounder Tim David entertained fans and teammates alike by playfully enjoying the heavy rainfall that soaked the M Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of the IPL 2025 resumption.

The Indian Premier League, temporarily halted due to escalating border tensions between India and Pakistan, is scheduled to resume on May 17. With both countries reaching a ceasefire agreement, cricket action returns with RCB hosting Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Bengaluru.

As heavy rains drenched the stadium, David seized the moment, appearing in swimming shorts and amusingly sliding and swimming on the ground covers, creating a lighthearted spectacle amid gloomy conditions. His playful antics drew cheers and laughter from RCB staff as he made his way back to the dressing room.

RCB are enjoying an excellent run this season, winning eight out of their 11 matches, placing them second on the IPL points table with 16 points. A victory against KKR would seal their spot in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, KKR face a tough challenge, sitting sixth on the table with 11 points from 12 games. A loss in this crucial match would eliminate their hopes of defending their title.

Both teams experienced an unexpected 10-day interruption, posing the challenge of regaining their pre-break momentum quickly. RCB entered the break on a high note, winning four consecutive games, while KKR had won two out of their last three encounters.

The upcoming clash raises the question of which team can best overcome the break’s disruption to regain their competitive edge.
