Dubai : The Asia Cup (T20) tournament, which was originally scheduled to be held in India in September, will now take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting September 9, as decided by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). According to the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), the matches will begin half an hour later than the originally announced schedule. As per the revised schedule, matches between September 9 and 28 will begin at 6:30 PM local time (8:00 PM IST). Previously, they were set to start at 7:30 PM IST but will now start half an hour later.

The only day match of the tournament, between UAE and Oman, will be played on September 15 at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium, starting at 4:00 PM local time. India’s first match will be on September 10 against the UAE. Pakistan and Oman are also in this group. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
