Rohit Sharma folded his hands and humbly requested his fans not to speak this…

Mumbai: Veteran cricketer Rohit Sharma will now only be seen playing in One-Day Internationals and the IPL, so he is spending all his remaining time with his family. A video of him attending Ganesh Pooja (Ganesh worship) a couple of days ago has gone viral.
While Rohit Sharma was at the temple receiving blessings from Lord Ganesha and engaged in the religious rituals, he was startled when a group of fans nearby began chanting “Mumbai cha Raja Rohit Sharma” (“Rohit Sharma, King of Mumbai”).

Holder of the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs (264 runs) and the only player with three double centuries in this format, Rohit Sharma is known for his humble and modest nature. He is counted among cricket’s greatest players. During his visit for Ganpati darshan, when he heard fans shouting “Mumbai cha Raja Rohit Sharma,” he folded his hands and politely requested them not to chant that. Most Indian cricketers are known for being “down to earth,” and Rohit is no exception.
The 38-year-old Rohit will next be seen playing in the upcoming ODI series against Australia. Millions of his fans hope that he will remain with Team India in ODIs until the 2027 World Cup.
