Rishabh Pant’s bat flew out of his hands twice Bumrah’s reaction was priceless…

Edgbaston – On the fourth day of the second Test, Rishabh Pant (65 runs off 58 balls, 3 sixes, 8 fours) played in his trademark attacking style, unsettling the England bowlers. However, amid the aggression, there were a few moments of unexpected drama.

During one shot, Pant completely lost grip of his bat, which flew a whopping 66 feet (20 meters) and landed near square leg. Fortunately, it didn’t hit any fielder.

Pant was dropped twice once on 30 by Zak Crawley and again on 34 by Chris Woakes.

In the 34th over, while attempting a pull shot, Pant lost control of the bat and it sailed towards square leg. The incident left Jasprit Bumrah, sitting just outside the dressing room, laughing out loud. Players on the field and the crowd joined in the amusement.

Again in the 47th over, bowled by spinner Shoaib Bashir, Pant’s bat slipped from his hands for a second time. This time, he managed to connect with the ball, but the bat flew toward mid-wicket. Brydon Carse almost caught the airborne bat, but at the same moment, Pant gave away his wicket — Ben Duckett made no mistake with the catch.

It was vintage Pant thrilling, chaotic, and unforgettable.
