Novak Djokovic’s Son Collects Wimbledon Autographs — Except His Dad’s!

London – As Novak Djokovic continues his quest for a historic 25th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, his 11-year-old son Stefan has become a mini-celebrity in his own right — not for his forehands or serves, but for his impressive autograph collection.
Stefan, attending his father’s matches at the All England Club, has managed to collect autographs from almost every player at Wimbledon this year — all neatly inked on his cap. But there’s one name noticeably missing: his father’s.
Wearing his now-iconic autograph-covered hat, Stefan proudly roamed the grounds collecting signatures. He approached players, introducing himself simply as “Novak Djokovic’s son,” and was warmly received. However, he never asked for Djokovic’s own autograph.
After his fourth-round win over Alex de Minaur (1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4), Djokovic was asked about his son’s growing collection. Laughing, the former world No.1 said,
“Stefan made up his mind to collect all the players’ autographs. He walked up to each one saying he was my son. I even told Jannik Sinner and another player to be ready if a kid came for autographs — that would be Stefan.”
He added warmly,
“He got everyone’s autograph except mine. But that’s okay. He was so happy, you could see it all over his face. He loves tennis deeply, and I’m just glad he’s enjoying it — even if I didn’t make it onto his hat!”
Earlier in the tournament, Djokovic’s 7-year-old daughter Tara also captured attention by dancing in the stands after his 100th Wimbledon match victory. Now, Stefan’s autograph adventure has added another sweet chapter to the Djokovic family story at Wimbledon 2025.
Djokovic is set to face Italy’s Flavio Cobolli in the quarterfinals as he continues his bid for tennis history.
Djokovic and his wife Jelena, who began dating in 2005 and married in July 2014, welcomed Stefan in October 2014 and their daughter Tara in 2017.
