Lucknow Super Giants Vs Mumbai Indians: Rishabh Pant Left Fuming After LSG Pacer’s Mistake

Mumbai Indians are chasing 204 against LSG, with Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma at the crease. MI have reached 125/3 after 13 overs, as Naman Dhir fell just short of a half-century. Hardik Pandya picked up the first five-wicket haul of his T20 career, and Rishabh Pant failed with the bat yet again, as LSG put up 203/8 in 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh smashed a 27-ball half-century early on, while Aiden Markram also hit a fifty.

Mumbai Indians (MI) won the toss and decided to bowl against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their IPL 2025 clash at the Ekana Stadium on Friday. Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the match with a knee injury, as revealed by Pandya at the toss. Both teams are looking for their second win of the season, having lost two games each.

Much-needed acceleration provided by Ayush Badoni. Three boundaries in a row to start the over. Santner completes his spell, he’s been expensive today. 0/46 in 4 overs, and 15 off the final one. Great shot by Ayush Badoni. First ball after the strategic timeout, tossed up by Santner, Badoni comes down the track, gives himself room, frees his arms and whacks it through extra cover. Next one, brilliantly timed for 4 between square-leg and mid-wicket.

Another tight over bowled by chinaman Vignesh. Only 7 runs off it – five singles and a two. Ayush Badoni is still settling in, and not really connecting well. Markram is on 39 off 26, and needs to take the lead now. Mumbai Indians have made a spectacular comeback into this game. From 75/0 after 6.4 overs to 116/3 after 12. Three big wickets in the process, with Marsh, Pooran and Pant all departing without troubling the scorers much.
