Where is the IPL players’ auction today, and when does it begin?

Abu Dhabi: The players’ mini auction for the 19th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) will be held today at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, starting at 2:30 PM.
As per the original schedule, bids were to be called for 350 players. However, with the BCCI adding 19 more names, a total of 369 players will now go under the hammer. Several franchises are expected to engage in intense bidding wars for a handful of in-demand players.
Notably, franchises will be keenly contesting for the likes of Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, Liam Livingstone, along with several promising young Indian players.
Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders will enter the auction with the largest remaining purse of ₹64.30 crore.
