Golden Era Of Indian Cricket: 2025 Set To End With Eight No.1 Rankings

Mumbai: Indian cricket has achieved an unprecedented milestone as 2025 draws to a close, registering a feat never seen before in a single calendar year. Not one, two or three, but eight different No.1 rankings currently belong to India and Indian cricketers across global cricket. In other words, India and its players have dominated the world cricket landscape.

Although India are not the reigning world champions in Tests and ODIs at present, they are the T20 world champions, and in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, India or an Indian player tops as many as eight categories at the end of 2025.

With only a few days left for the year to conclude, the level of dominance shown by Indian cricketers in 2025 has been unmatched in any previous year.
