Rajnath Singh Said Armed Forces Carried Out Operation Sindoor With Moral Restraint, Showed Sensitivity

New Delhi : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday praised the armed forces for carrying out precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), saying the action targeted those who killed innocent people. “The operation reflects not just our military precision, but also our moral restraint. In the words of Lord Hanuman: ‘Jin mohi maara, tin mohi maare’. This means we struck only those who harmed our innocents,” he said.

Singh said the armed forces showed sensitivity to ensure that no civilian location or civilian population was affected. “As you all know, last night the Indian forces created a new history by displaying their valour and courage. The Indian armed forces have acted with precision, alertness and sensitivity. The targets we had set have been destroyed with precision as per the planned plan,” he said.

He said India exercised its ‘right to respond’ to the attack on its soil and said the operation was aimed at breaking the morale of the terrorists. “Our action has been taken very thoughtfully and in a measured manner. With the aim of breaking the morale of the terrorists. This action has been limited only to their camps and other infrastructure,” he said. Referring to the air and artillery strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, Singh said the operation was India’s well-thought-out response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.

“Once again, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, our forces have struck back at terror training camps and their infrastructure, a firm and appropriate reply,” he added. He also extended gratitude to PM Modi for fully backing the armed forces and praised their role in defending the nation with honour. Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian military targeted Markaz Taiba of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Muridke, Markaz Subhan Allah of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Bahawalpur and Hizbul Mujahideen’s Mehmoona Joya Facility in Sialkot and LeT’s base in Markaz Ahle Hadith in Barnala and its camp in Muzaffarabad’s Shawai Nalla, military officials said.
