Young Woman Found Shot Dead in Delhi’s Shahdara Enclave

Police in Delhi’s Shahdara discovered a woman’s body with gunshot wounds in GTB Enclave on Tuesday, authorities reported.

A late-night emergency call on Monday alerted police to a shooting, stating a woman was unconscious. Officers from GTB Enclave station quickly arrived and confirmed the presence of a deceased woman, who had sustained two bullet wounds, according to a police official.

The woman, believed to be around 20 years old, has not yet been identified, the official said. Efforts to determine her identity are ongoing.

The area was immediately sealed off, and a crime scene team was brought in to examine the site. Authorities are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify suspects. A murder investigation has been launched, police stated
