Ahmedabad: Five days after the devastating plane crash in Ahmedabad, new details and harrowing videos continue to surface, shedding light on the terrifying moments during the disaster. A newly shared video shows the heart-stopping scene at Atulyam Hostels of BJ Medical College, one of the buildings hit during the crash. In the footage, panic-stricken doctors are seen leaping from balconies as flames spread rapidly through the building.
At least three individuals, two men and a young woman, can be seen escaping the blaze, using what appears to be saree-like cloths tied together to climb down in desperation. The crash occurred on June 12 and left a trail of destruction. At the time, around 50 doctors were present in the Atulyam hostel during the afternoon hours. Several were injured, and tragically, five lost their lives inside the building.
Another five doctors perished aboard the ill-fated flight. Among them were Dr. Pratik Joshi and his wife, Komi Vyas, both from Gujarat, along with their three children, all of whom also died in the crash. Three more doctors on the plane were also confirmed dead.
