Bandipora: The house of another Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, Jameel Ahmed, was blown up by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora as India intensified its crackdown on the attackers in Pahalgam, where 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed.
The video from the aftermath of the destruction shows people trying to recover whatever is left, as the building stood dilapidated, with its windows and roof smashed. Security forces also blew up the house of a terrorist affiliated with Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad, Amir Nazir, in Tral last night.
One belonged to Adnan Shafi – who had joined Lashkar in 2024 – in the Shopian district, while the other belonged to Farooq Ahmed, who is currently operating out of Pakistan. In the past three days, security forces, along with district authorities, have targeted several terrorists across the Valley by razing their properties and blowing them up with IEDs, following the Pahalgam terror attack.
Security forces bombed the residence of Lashkar terrorist Adil Hussain Thoker, a key conspirator involved in the Pahalgam incident in Kashmir’s Bijbehara. Thoker is believed to have played a critical role in aiding the terrorists involved in the killing of tourists in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Meadows on April 22.
Thoker had crossed over to Pakistan in 2018 and inflitrated back to Jammu and Kashmir last year after receiving training in terror camps back there. The Anantnag Police have announced a Rs 20 lakh reward for Thoker and two Pakistani nationals involved in the attack – Ali Bhai alias Talha and Asif Fauji.
