‘Tragic Crash 3 Gujarat Cops Dead in Haryana’: Probe Underway After Sirsa Collision

Sirsa: A devastating accident on Bharatmala Road in Haryana’s Sirsa district claimed the lives of three Gujarat Police personnel early Wednesday, leaving one officer critically injured. The Gujarat Police vehicle, involved in a high-impact collision with an unidentified vehicle, was wrecked in the pre-dawn crash at 5:30 a.m.

The team had traveled to the Dabwali area’s Wedding Kheda for a case investigation when the incident occurred near Beding Kheda. According to Sadar police station in-charge Brahma Prakash, a Punjab-registered number plate recovered at the scene is now a key lead in tracking the second vehicle involved. Local police have launched a probe to identify the vehicle and determine the circumstances of the collision.

Dabwali Sadar police swiftly responded, rushing the injured to a nearby general hospital. Despite efforts, doctors pronounced three officers dead on arrival, while an Assistant Sub-Inspector remains under treatment for severe injuries. The deceased have been moved to the mortuary, and Gujarat Police authorities have been notified, with additional officers expected to arrive in Dabwali soon.

Eyewitnesses and residents from surrounding areas gathered at the site, speculating about the cause of the tragedy as police worked to piece together initial evidence. “We’re still collecting details from the scene,” a Dabwali police official told reporters, noting that clarity would emerge once Gujarat Police join the investigation.

The incident has sparked local discussion, but authorities have yet to release conclusive findings, pending a thorough inquiry.
