India’s Military Reach Extends Across Pakistan, Warns Top Army Officer

Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, Director General of Army Air Defence, emphasized India’s robust military capabilities, stating that the entire expanse of Pakistan lies within the strike range of Indian forces. Lt Gen D’Cunha underscored that relocating Pakistan’s military headquarters would not shield it from India’s arsenal.

“India possesses a formidable array of weapons capable of targeting Pakistan across its full depth,” Lt Gen D’Cunha said. He added that even if Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) were moved from Rawalpindi to regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it would remain vulnerable. “They would need to find a very deep hole to hide,” he remarked, highlighting the precision and reach of India’s military technology.

The officer’s comments come in the context of Operation Sindoor, during which Indian forces executed targeted strikes on key Pakistani airbases. According to the report, these attacks utilized loitering munitions to neutralize high-value targets with accuracy. Lt Gen D’Cunha stressed that the primary mission of India’s armed forces is to safeguard national sovereignty and protect its citizens.
