Shivraj Singh Chouhan Under ISI Surveillance? Government Upgrades Union Minister’s Security to Z+

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s security has been significantly enhanced following intelligence reports from the Union Home Ministry indicating that Pakistan’s intelligence service, the ISI, has taken interest in him.

Official sources reveal the Home Ministry has notified the Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police that the ISI is collecting intelligence on Chouhan. Responding to this alert, security agencies swiftly assessed and reinforced the minister’s protective measures.

Home Ministry Orders Zero Security Lapses

Extra barricades have been installed around Chouhan’s B-8 residence at 74 Bungalow in Bhopal, with security also intensified at his official Delhi residence. Heightened police deployment was observed outside his Bhopal residence late Friday evening.

The Home Ministry has issued firm directives to prevent any security breaches. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary has been put on maximum alert, with instructions also forwarded to Delhi Police’s Special Commissioner (Security).

Officials confirmed the security assessment was executed in coordination with central security agencies. The Home Ministry’s communication emphasized implementing suitable precautions to avert any potential incident.

Intelligence Details Remain Classified

Chouhan currently receives Z+ category protection, India’s most comprehensive security level. Though authorities have not revealed specifics about any additional forces deployed after the recent intelligence, Z+ security generally comprises approximately 55 specially trained personnel, including elite commandos.

The government has not released further information concerning the intelligence input’s specific nature.
