Porn CDs, sex toy, morphed photos with UK PM and Obama recovered in Delhi godman’s molestation case

Delhi Police on Wednesday expanded its investigation against self-styled godman Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati, accused in a molestation case, by recovering objectionable items during a raid at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management (SRISIIM) campus in Delhi, where he formerly served as director. The search was conducted in the presence of the accused, also known as Swamy Parthasarathy.

Officials confirmed the recovery of a sex toy, five CDs suspected to contain pornographic material, and three morphed photographs showing Saraswati alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former US President Barack Obama, and former UK Prime Minister David Cameron. Investigators believe the forged images were used to falsely project influence and proximity to global leaders.

Police also seized a BMW car with a VIP number plate connected to Saraswati. According to the FIR, he allegedly used the luxury car to lure women into rides before molesting them. His movements while absconding were traced to Bageshwar and Almora in Uttarakhand, helping investigators corroborate his activities during that period.

The probe deepened suspicion that Chaitanyanand relied on fake identities and fabricated content to deceive followers. Forensic analysis of the CDs and other recovered devices is ongoing to determine their source and whether they were used for blackmail or manipulation.

Earlier, India Today had accessed explicit chat exchanges between the accused and women students, revealing patterns of harassment, sexual demands, and references to foreign contacts, including a Dubai-based sheikh. These messages raised concerns of possible links to trafficking networks.

The case initially surfaced after 17 female students of SRISIIM accused Chaitanyanand of sending obscene messages, making unwelcome advances, and consistent harassment. Public outrage grew after he evaded police for days before being arrested from a hotel in Agra. Following his arrest, Delhi Police sought custodial remand to probe not only sexual harassment allegations but also suspected financial irregularities and misuse of the institute’s premises.

The scandal has sparked fresh demands for stronger oversight of self-styled godmen, with authorities assuring that all aspects including trafficking and forgery will be thoroughly investigated as more revelations are expected in the coming days.
