
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Manipur tomorrow, for the first time since violence erupted in 2023, claiming over 200 lives. PM will lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 7,300-crore at Churachandpur, the areat that was among the worst affected during the ethenic violence.
PM Modi will address a gathering and will then inaugurate various projects worth over Rs 1,200-crore at capital city Imphal. Besides Manipur, the PM will also visit other northeastern states, including Mizoram and Assam. He will then head to West Bengal and poll-bound Bihar. Tomorrow, he will first visit Mizoram and lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth over Rs-9000 crore at Aizawl. He will then head to Manipur.
The same evening, the PM will visit Assam and participate in the celebrations of the 100th birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika in Guwahati. On September 14, PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of major infrastructure and industrial development projects worth over Rs 18,530-crore in Assam.
The PM will head to West Bengal on September 15 and inaugurate the 16th Combined Commanders’ Conference-2025 in Kolkata. Thereafter, Prime Minister will visit Bihar and inaugurate the new terminal building of Purnea airport at around 2:45 PM.
