PM Modi: Terrorists Wiped Sindoor Off Our Mothers, Sisters; we Destroyed Their Camps

In a powerful national address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a resolute warning to terrorist networks, stating that those who dared to target Indian women have faced decisive retribution. His remarks followed India’s large-scale military offensive Operation Sindoor conducted in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

“Every terrorist and terror organisation now understands the consequence of wiping the sindoor off our sisters’ and daughters’ foreheads,” PM Modi declared, referencing the symbolic gesture of violating Indian women’s dignity. According to official sources, Indian forces destroyed nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in an operation launched on May 7.

The Prime Minister detailed the scale of the operation, noting, “Over 100 notorious terrorists were eliminated in a single strike.” He emphasized that individuals who had previously moved freely while plotting against India were neutralized swiftly and decisively.

Modi framed the military response as a significant blow to Pakistan, stating, “The terrorists removed the sindoor of our sisters, and in response, India dismantled their headquarters.”

He described Operation Sindoor as more than a military initiative, calling it “a solemn pledge of justice” and an emotional mission reflecting the sentiment of millions of Indians. “It is not just a name. It is a commitment,” he said.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the government’s firm backing of the Armed Forces, affirming that they were given a “free hand” to take action.

“Operation Sindoor has redefined the fight against terrorism,” Modi concluded, calling it a “new benchmark” in India’s security doctrine.
