Disturbing Daycare Assault: Noida Maid Arrested After Viral CCTV Exposes Brutal Attack on Toddler

In a shocking incident in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a maid faces arrest for brutally assaulting a 15-month-old girl at a daycare facility, as revealed by chilling CCTV footage that went viral. The disturbing video, prompting swift police action, captured the woman repeatedly striking and biting the toddler, who was left in distress. The suspect was detained on Sunday following a complaint from the child’s parents.

The abuse occurred on August 4, when the toddler’s mother noticed her daughter was inconsolable after being picked up from daycare. At home, she discovered round marks on the child’s thighs, later confirmed by a doctor as human bite marks. Alarmed, the parents reviewed the daycare’s security footage, which exposed the maid’s actions. Initially, the footage shows her attempting to soothe the crying infant, but when the child continued, she closed the door, threw the toddler to the floor, slapped her multiple times, bit her, and struck her with a plastic toy bat.

According to report, the parents also accused the daycare supervisor of negligence, alleging they failed to intervene or comfort the child during the assault. When confronted, both the maid and supervisor reportedly responded with hostility and threats. The family promptly filed a complaint at Sector-142 police station, leading to charges under relevant legal sections. The toddler underwent a medical examination to document her injuries, and the maid was taken into custody.

A police official stated, “A case has been registered based on the complaint, and the accused maid is in custody as legal proceedings continue.” The incident has ignited public outrage, raising urgent concerns about child safety in daycare settings. The viral footage has fueled demands for stricter regulations and oversight in such facilities. As the investigation progresses, the focus remains on securing justice for the young victim and ensuring accountability. The case underscores the critical need for vigilance, thorough staff vetting, and robust safety measures in childcare environments to prevent such horrific act.
