Shocking Betrayal: Telangana Newlywed Killed in Love Triangle Plot

In a chilling case from Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district, a newlywed man was brutally murdered just weeks after his wedding, police reported on Thursday. The victim, 32-year-old land surveyor Ganta Tejeshwar, was killed in a meticulously planned attack allegedly orchestrated by his 23-year-old wife, Aishwarya, and her 35-year-old lover, Tirumala Rao, along with six others who have been arrested.
According to Jogulamba Gadwal Superintendent of Police T. Srinivasa Rao, Tejeshwar was attacked inside a vehicle, where assailants bludgeoned his head, slit his throat, and stabbed him. His body was discovered on June 21 in a field in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyal district, identified by a distinctive “Amma” tattoo in Telugu on his forearm. The murder took place on June 17, shortly after Tejeshwar was reported missing by his family.
Investigations revealed a complex web of deceit. Tirumala Rao, a manager at Can Fin Homes Ltd. in Kurnool, had initially been romantically involved with Aishwarya’s mother, Sujatha, a sweeper at his workplace. Over time, his affections shifted to Aishwarya, and he promised to marry her. However, Aishwarya’s family pressured her into marrying Tejeshwar on May 18, despite her ongoing relationship with Rao. Unhappy in her marriage, Aishwarya allegedly conspired with Rao to eliminate her husband.
The plot involved hiring contract killers Kummari Nagesh, Chakali Parashuramudu, and Chakali Rajesh who were paid ₹1 lakh in advance by Rao, with an additional ₹2 lakh transferred on June 20. A GPS tracker was secretly installed on Tejeshwar’s motorbike to monitor his movements, and a local man named Jagan provided real-time updates to the conspirators. Aishwarya’s mother, Sujatha, and Rao’s father, V. Tirupataiah, were also arrested for allegedly concealing the crime.

The case has drawn comparisons to a recent honeymoon murder in Meghalaya, as Aishwarya and Rao reportedly studied that case to avoid mistakes. Police seized a Mahindra Marazzo vehicle, ₹1.2 lakh in cash, two machetes, a knife, 10 mobile phones, a GPS tracker, and clothing purchased by the accused after the crime. The investigation continues as authorities uncover further details of this tragic betrayal.
