Navratri Spirit at Airport: Passengers Performed Garba at Goa Airport After Flight Delay, Airline Staff Joins | Video Viral

Ahmedabad: What could have been a frustrating five-hour flight delay turned into an impromptu celebration of Navratri at Goa airport. Passengers travelling to Surat for the festive season transformed the terminal into a dance floor, performing Garba to traditional folk tunes, with even airline staff joining the revelry.
One of the passengers, Mayur, had booked the Sunday evening flight after cancelling a delayed train journey, hoping to reach Surat on time to take part in Garba festivities. But when the 5 pm flight was held up due to technical reasons, he shared his wish to join the celebrations with a flight attendant.
Instead of letting the delay dampen spirits, the crew arranged speakers and encouraged passengers to make the most of their time. Soon, a circle of people formed at the airport, clapping to beats, twirling gracefully, and inviting others to join in. Airline staff members were also seen dancing alongside the passengers, creating a festive atmosphere that quickly went viral on social media.
The video, now widely shared online, captures the joy as travellers clapped, cheered, and extended their circle so more people could participate. Even those waiting for other flights were spotted enjoying the unexpected Navratri celebrations inside the terminal.
