‘Muslim Nahi Hai Bola, Goli Maar Di,’ Cries Tourist After Deadly Terror Attack in Pahalgam

A distressing incident occurred in the Baisran area of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorists dressed in military attire opened fire on tourists, killing at least one person and injuring twelve others on Tuesday.

A deeply emotional video capturing a survivor’s testimony has emerged online. The woman in the video describes the incident, stating, “I was standing nearby eating bhel puri, and my husband was beside me when someone approached, said he wasn’t Muslim, and then shot him.”

Another heartbreaking scene in the footage shows a woman uncontrollably pleading, “Please save my husband,” while her husband sits wounded and bloodied nearby. Other victims can be seen lying motionless on the ground. Reports suggest the affected couple were newlyweds on their honeymoon.

Images circulating online also depict a woman sitting beside her husband’s lifeless body, intensifying the tragedy of the attack.

Security and medical personnel swiftly responded to the scene. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a phone call, instructed Union Home Minister Amit Shah to personally visit the location and ensure appropriate actions are taken. Authorities fear the number of fatalities might increase.
