Meerut Murder : Lawyers attacked Merchant Navy Officer’s wife and lover outside the courtroom

Meerut : A 35 year old Saurabh Rajput a Merchant Navy officer, was killed by his wife and lover in the Indiranagar area of Uttar Pradesh’ Meerut.

An Uttar Pradesh police officer said that ” A 35 year old Saurabh Rajput was killed by his wife and lover in the Indiranagar area of Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut on March 4. Rajput used to work in London a Merchant navy officer and flew back to India to celebrate his wife Muskan’s birthday.

The accused wife Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla alias Mohit had dismembered his body and had put the boy in the drum and sealed it with cement. The decomposed body of the victim was recovered 15 days later on Tuesday On march 18 from a rented house.

SP Ayush Vikram Singh sad that a person named Saurabh Rajput , working in merchant Navy, came home on March 4 and had been missing since then. On the basis of the suspicion, his wife Muskan and her partner Sahil were called for questioning, hence they were caught. The woman and her lover accused of killing her Merchant Navy Officer husband in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut were attacked by a group of lawyers while being brought for a court hearing. As police escorted Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla out of the chief judicial magistrate’s court thats when a group of lawyers surrounded them and tried to hit them.

The chief judicial magistrate’s court has sent the accused to a 14-day judicial custody.
