Listening To Morari Bapu’s Ram Katha is a Blessing Equal to Chanting the Sahasranama: CM Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai: “We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to listen to the Ram Katha in the divine voice of Morari Bapu. Generations have been listening to the Ram Katha, but hearing it from Morari Bapu is indeed a blessing equal to chanting the Sahasranama,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The Ram Katha discourse by Morari Bapu was organized at Chintamani Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Yavatmal. On this occasion, Guardian Minister Sanjay Rathod, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Tribal Development Minister Ashok Uike, Chairman of the National Commission for Backward Classes Hansraj Ahir, MP Sanjay Deshmukh, Balwant Wankhede, MLA Balasaheb Mangulkar, Kishor Jorgewar, Raju Todsam, Adv. Ashish Deshmukh, Kisanrao Wankhede, Saitai Dahake, Ram Katha organizers Dr. Vijay Darda and Rajendra Darda, among others, were present.

The Chief Minister said that the Ram Katha is the most beautiful story, and listening to it paves the path of life. “It contains profound lessons for leading a meaningful life. Listening to Morari Bapu’s thoughtful Ram Katha is truly a moment of fortune for everyone. Lord Ram’s life exemplifies adherence to discipline and values, making him the supreme ‘Maryada Purushottam.’ The Ram Katha represents sacrifice, penance, radiance, discipline, and emotions. Today, after 500 years, Lord Ram has been consecrated at his rightful place in Ayodhya—a matter of pride for every Indian,” he added.

Speaking about the book ‘Pen and Purpose’ based on the life of Jawaharlal Darda, the CM said the book highlights his contribution to the freedom struggle and the vision of a progressive Maharashtra. “It reflects his multi-faceted personality and his contributions to the progress of the state, culture, and industry. After Babuji, Dr. Vijay Darda has continued to inspire society through his social work. It is through him that we are blessed with the darshan of Morari Bapu,” he stated.

On arrival at the Ram Katha venue, the Chief Minister felicitated Morari Bapu with a shawl and a coconut. Later, Dr. Vijay Darda and Rajendra Darda welcomed the CM. On this occasion, the Chief Minister released the book ‘Pen and Purpose’ based on Jawaharlal Darda’s life. He also dedicated the ₹100 commemorative coin, issued on the birth centenary of Jawaharlal Darda, to Morari Bapu.
