Kangana Ranaut Hails Operation Sindoor, Praises PM Modi’s Leadership

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut expressed her support for India’s recent military operation, dubbed Operation Sindoor, through posts on her Instagram Stories. The operation, a retaliatory strike against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following the Pahalgam terror attack, drew praise from Ranaut, who highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisive role.

In her first Instagram Story, Ranaut wrote, “They said, ‘Tell Modi.’ And Modi showed them. #OperationSindoor.” In a subsequent post, she added, “May God protect those who safeguard us. Wishing our forces safety and success.” Her comments reflect admiration for the Indian armed forces and the leadership behind the operation.

The Pahalgam attack on April 22 claimed 26 lives, prompting India to launch Operation Sindoor on May 7. The Indian Army and Air Force conducted joint missile strikes, targeting nine terror camps, including key bases of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke, as confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.

Other Bollywood figures also voiced support for the operation. Akshay Kumar, star of Kesari: Chapter 2, posted on X, “Jai Hind Jai Mahakaal.” Veteran actor Anupam Kher wrote, “Bharat Mata ki Jai! #OperationSindoor.” Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar shared, “Our prayers are with our forces. One nation, together we stand. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram.” Paresh Rawal, known for Hera Pheri, thanked PM Modi and the armed forces on X, while Chiranjeevi, a Padma Vibhushan recipient, posted the operation’s poster with “Jai Hind.” Riteish Deshmukh, reacting to the strikes, wrote, “Jai Hind ki Sena…Bharat Mata ki Jai!”

The operation has sparked widespread discussion, with Ranaut and her peers in the entertainment industry joining the chorus of support for India’s military response.
