New Delhi: A shocking brawl broke out early Thursday morning between members of the IRCTC staff onboard the 22470 Vande Bharat Express at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. The train, which operates between Nizamuddin and Gwalior, was preparing to depart when the altercation occurred around 5:45 a.m.
A video of the fight has since gone viral on social media, showing the staff engaged in a physical scuffle, using dustbins, belts, and even bare fists to attack one another. In the footage, one employee is seen lifting a dustbin and striking another on the platform as onlookers tried to intervene.
Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the dispute, but the incident has raised serious questions about discipline and staff conduct among IRCTC contract employees serving on Vande Bharat trains.
