Indian Railways Unveils RailOne Super App for Seamless Travel

Indian Railways introduced RailOne, a comprehensive mobile application designed to streamline the train travel experience for millions of passengers across India. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), RailOne consolidates essential rail services into a single, user-friendly platform, eliminating the need for multiple apps.

RailOne integrates functionalities previously scattered across various applications, including IRCTC Rail Connect for ticket reservations, UTSonMobile for unreserved tickets, Rail Madad for feedback, NTES for train tracking, and Food on Track for meal orders. The app allows users to book reserved and unreserved tickets, check PNR status, track trains in real time, order food, manage refunds, and lodge complaints, all within one interface.

Key features of RailOne include a “Plan My Journey” tool for booking tickets across multiple classes and quotas, a Coach Position Finder to locate seating on platforms, and seamless integration with Rail Madad for complaint tracking. The app also supports food ordering from partnered vendors, refund processing for canceled or missed trains, and multilingual access to cater to India’s diverse population. A single sign-on feature allows users to log in with existing IRCTC or UTS credentials, simplifying access, while secure payments are facilitated through Indian Railways’ R-Wallet, using biometric or mPIN authentication.
