In a swift and targeted response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Indian armed forces launched precision strikes early Wednesday under Operation Sindoor, hitting nine terror hubs across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).
According to footage released by the Indian Army, two key Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) camps Abbas Terrorist Camp and Gulpur Terrorist Camp were among the targets destroyed in Pakistan’s Kotli region. The Abbas camp, located just 13 km from the Line of Control, reportedly served as a major training base for suicide bombers, while the Gulpur camp operated as a command centre approximately 30 km from the border.
Other locations struck included Sawai Nalla, Sarjal, Muridke, Kotli Gulpur, Mehmoona Joya, Bhimber, and Bahawalpur. The first strike occurred at 1:04 am, followed by another at 1:08 am, showcasing precise coordination.

Sources informed Mumbai Samachar that over 80 terrorists affiliated with proscribed groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), LeT, and Hizbul Mujahideen were neutralised in the operation.
Pakistan, meanwhile, alleged that 26 civilians were killed in the strikes. India firmly refuted the claim, emphasizing that no civilian or military installations were targeted. The Ministry of External Affairs described the operation as “focused, measured and non-escalatory,” highlighting India’s restraint in both target selection and execution.
Lasting just 25 minutes, the strikes mark India’s most extensive cross-border military action since the 2019 Balakot operation, delivering a significant setback to terror networks operating across the border.
