India Rejects Claims of U.S. Using Its Airspace for Iran Strikes, Labels Rumors False

New Delhi: The Indian government has firmly dismissed social media rumors alleging that the United States used Indian airspace to conduct airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities during the reported “Operation Midnight Hammer” on Saturday night. The Press Information Bureau (PIB), operating under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, issued a statement debunking these claims as entirely untrue.

According to the PIB, posts circulating online falsely suggested that U.S. fighter jets traversed Indian airspace to target Iran’s nuclear sites. “Several social media accounts have claimed that Indian Airspace was used by the United States to launch aircraft against Iran during Operation Midnight Hammer. This claim is FAKE,” the PIB stated on X, emphasizing that no such activity occurred.
