Addressing voters virtually after bad weather grounded his chopper, Union Home Minister Amit Shah told audiences in Gopalganj and Samastipur that the Bihar election is a straight choice between the Modi–Nitish governance model and what he termed the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan’s “jungle raj.” He said the mandate will decide Bihar’s future, contrasting the NDA’s development push with memories of law-and-order breakdowns under previous RJD regimes.
Shah sharpened his attack in Gopalganj Lalu Prasad Yadav’s home district recalling high-profile incidents from the 1990s and citing local resentment against alleged strong-arm tactics linked to the era. He urged voters to “keep the trend” of rejecting the RJD since 2002, while positioning the NDA as a bloc of stability, investment, and social schemes for farmers and women.
Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Samastipur, Shah accused him of “protecting infiltrators” through ‘Voter Adhikar Yatras,’ and backed nationwide voter roll clean-ups under the Special Intensive Revision. He reiterated manifesto pledges: adding ₹3,000 to PM-KISAN in Bihar (raising it to ₹9,000 annually), scaling support for 1.41 crore Jeevika Didis, reopening closed sugar mills within five years, and completing Punaura Dham’s development on a fast track.
