First Calm Night Along Line of Control In Recent Days: Indian Army

For the first time in nearly a week, the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir experienced a peaceful night, free from shelling. The Indian Army reported no gunfire or artillery exchanges along the border on Sunday night, marking a significant pause in recent hostilities.

In Poonch, a border town frequently targeted by shelling, residents noted a stark contrast to the preceding days. Visuals from the area on Monday morning showed vehicles moving freely and a sense of normalcy returning. This calm extended to other border regions, including Punjab, where authorities urged residents to resume daily activities while remaining vigilant.

The Indian Army emphasized that its forces are maintaining heightened alertness to monitor the situation and ensure stability along both the LoC and the International Border.
