Jaishankar Denounces Pakistan’s Deep Ties to Terrorism

India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar sharply criticized Pakistan for its entrenched involvement in terrorism during a Friday address in New York. Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, he accused Pakistan of fostering a “terrorism industry,” asserting that there is no distinction between those who perpetrate terrorist acts and those who enable them. His remarks were part of a broader speech on global security challenges.
Jaishankar emphasized that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances, directly addressing Pakistan’s role in supporting such activities. He stated that the consequences of Pakistan’s actions are now evident, with the nation facing internal repercussions for its policies. “Pakistan is up to its eyeballs in terrorism,” he declared, as reported by Hindustan Times, underscoring the scale of the issue.
