Rajasthan Grapples with Sharp Covid-19 Spike, Jaipur Bears Brunt

Rajasthan is witnessing a troubling surge in Covid-19 cases, with 56 new infections reported in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s total to 512, as per ABP News. Jaipur has emerged as the hardest-hit area, contributing 320 cases to the tally. The rapid rise has heightened alarm among health authorities, who are closely monitoring the situation.

The state has already recorded two fatalities linked to the recent wave, underscoring the severity of the outbreak. In response to the escalating cases, the Rajasthan government had earlier issued an advisory urging residents to strictly follow Covid-19 safety protocols, including masking and social distancing, to contain the virus’s spread.
