Congress Calls for Change in Bihar Government, Cites Fiscal Issues and Health Concerns of CM Nitish Kumar

The Congress party has called for a change in Bihar’s government, expressing concerns over the state’s fiscal health and the deteriorating condition of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. At a press conference on Sunday, Congress media and publicity cell chairman Pawan Khera raised the slogan “Sarkar Badlo, Bihar Badlo” (change government, change Bihar), citing Kumar’s declining health and the state’s troubled fiscal situation as key issues. Khera claimed that the Chief Minister’s health has worsened since his alliance with the BJP and suggested that his lack of involvement in state affairs was a cause for concern.
Khera also criticized the state’s governance, alleging that development in Bihar had come to a halt, and that the youth’s talent was being wasted. He pointed to reports of rising malnutrition among children and a lack of medicines and medical staff in government hospitals. The Congress leader emphasized that the people of Bihar were looking to the Congress for change, as many were now forced to migrate due to the state’s lack of opportunities.
The Congress leader also promised a detailed analysis of the Bihar government’s failures, which would be presented to the people. He expressed confidence that the party had a clear vision for the state’s development, with plans to address the issues facing every section of society. When questioned about seat-sharing arrangements with the RJD for the upcoming assembly elections, Khera stated that the decision would be made at the appropriate time.
