CM Devendra Fadnavis Announces ₹50 Lakh Aid for Families of Pahalgam Terror Attack Victims

Mumbai– Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today announced financial assistance of ₹50 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. The announcement was made during the state Cabinet meeting, which began with a solemn tribute to the victims.

CM Fadnavis stated that the state government will extend full support towards the education and employment needs of the deceased victims’ children and families. He also declared that in families where there is a lack of livelihood, direct government jobs will be provided to eligible heirs, using his special executive powers.

The Chief Minister had already announced a government job for the daughter of Mr. Jagdale, one of the victims, a day prior to the cabinet meeting.
