Class 12 Students Missing Hindi Exam Due to Holi to Get a Second Chance, Says CBSE

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Thursday that Class 12 students who cannot appear for the Hindi exam on March 15 because of Holi celebrations will be allowed to take the test at a later date.
CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj explained that although most regions celebrate Holi on March 14, some areas observe the festival on March 15 or experience extended festivities into the next day. In light of this feedback, while the exam will still be held as planned on March 15, students facing difficulties due to the holiday will have an option to write the paper at a subsequent date.
He added that these students will be given the additional chance alongside those taking special examinations, as per the board’s policy for students involved in national or international sports events.
