Chhattisgarh Government School Teachers Struggle With Basic English Spelling, See How He Wrote ‘Eleven’; Watch Video

New Delhi : A shocking video showing teachers at a government school in Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur district struggling to spell basic words like “eleven,” “eighteen,” and “nineteen” has gone viral on social media.
The video has cast a harsh spotlight on the crumbling state of primary education in Ghodasot village, under Gram Panchayat Madwa. The school staff, including two teachers and the headmaster, were seen fumbling with even the most elementary questions. What was even more alarming is the fact that the teachers also failed to name the district collector or the superintendent of police when asked.

Ironically, Balrampur is not some remote hinterland but a district where multiple government schemes, teacher appointments, and education budgets are in force – at least on paper. Even more troubling is the alleged response of the local administration. Reports suggest that the District Education Officer (DEO) issued verbal instructions to bar journalists from entering school premises.
