Central Railway will implement a special power and traffic block at Thansit station from 12:30 AM to 5:15 AM on the midnight of August 16–17, 2025 (Saturday to Sunday), to commission the Electronic Interlocking system as part of the Kalyan-Kasara third line project.
During this block period, several mail, express, and suburban trains will operate with caution and necessary authority, which may result in delays.

- CSMT–Kasara local departing CSMT at 10:47 PM on August 16, and at 12:08 AM on August 17 may face delays.
- Kasara–CSMT locals departing Kasara at 3:51 AM and 4:59 AM on August 17 are also likely to be delayed.

An official from Central Railway stated that these infrastructure-related blocks are conducted in the greater interest of passengers and national development. Passengers are requested to bear with the inconvenience caused due to these necessary upgrades.
