CBI Has Arrests ED Deputy Director Chintan Raghuvanshi in ₹20 lakh Bribery Case

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Chintan Raghuvanshi, a Deputy Director with the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in an alleged ₹20 lakh bribery case. Officials confirmed the arrest on Friday.

Raghuvanshi, a 2013-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer stationed in Odisha, was apprehended during a trap operation. He had allegedly demanded the bribe from a Bhubaneswar-based mining entrepreneur. The CBI initiated the operation following credible intelligence and caught the officer in the act.
