Case Against Hairstylist Jawed Habib For Cheating Over 150 People

New Delhi : Sambhal police have registered a fraud case against renowned hairstylist Javed Habib, his son Anas Habib, and three others for allegedly cheating over 150 people by promising high returns on cryptocurrency investments. Javed Habib and his son lured investors with the promise of 50% to 75% profit through FLC (Follicile Global Company). People were persuaded to invest in Bitcoins and Binance Coins, with their money being transferred to the company’s accounts.
SP KK Bishnoi said, “A group of people approached the police stating that they were defrauded of lakhs of rupees by Javed Habib, his son Anas Habib, and others under the name of Follicile Global Company. They had organized a meeting at Royal Palace Banquet Hall in Sambhal, promising 50–75% returns within a year. Investments were made in Binance Coins and Bitcoins. When investors demanded their money back, the accused closed the company and absconded.
The allegations came to light after several investors lodged complaints at Raisatti Police Station, including Mohammad Hilal, Rehan, Aman, Majid Hussain, and Mohammad Naim. Given the high-profile nature of the case, SP KK Bishnoi directed Additional SP Alok Bhati to investigate. Following the inquiry, the police confirmed that the accused had defrauded investors of substantial amounts by promising unrealistically high returns.
The fraud reportedly traces back to 2023, when Javed Habib and his son organised a program at Royal Palace Banquet Hall in Sarayatreen, Sambhal under the banner of FLC. Around 150 people attended, and many were convinced to invest large sums with promises of guaranteed profits.
