The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday declared that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolute leadership, has fundamentally altered its approach to dealing with Pakistan. The statement follows a mutual agreement between the two nations on Saturday to halt all cross-border hostilities, including land, air, and sea operations, effective immediately, after four days of escalated drone and missile exchanges.
BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari, in a post on X, claimed that Pakistan faced “catastrophic losses” and was compelled to seek a ceasefire. “Within just 72 hours, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisive leadership has transformed India’s engagement strategy with Pakistan,” Bhandari stated.
