Aaditya Thackeray Teases Vote Chori Surgical Strike

New Delhi : Uddhav Sena MP Aaditya Thackeray promised a Rahul Gandhi-like expose to reveal the chinks in the armour of the Election Commission regarding alleged irregularities during last year’s Maharashtra Assembly elections. When pressed further on the timing of the expose, Aaditya said, We can’t reveal the timings of the surgical strikes. We have already written to the EC before the elections last year over the sudden spike in voters, about missing voters and why the booths have been mismanaged.

In a series of scathing press conferences against the Election Commission, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi cited several examples and leveled serious allegations against the poll body—from voter name deletions in Karnataka to inflated voter turnout in Maharashtra. Rahul Gandhi said he has yet to reveal the hydrogen bomb, alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was involved in “vote theft” to win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

It all started when Rahul Gandhi posted an op-ed titled “Match-Fixing Maharashtra” in the Indian Express on X in July, giving a step-by-step account of how he believes the Assembly election results were rigged, calling it “How to steal an election?”

Rahul claimed that the BJP deployed a detailed five-step process to derail the Maharashtra Assembly elections and results. In his op-ed, he claimed that the Narendra Modi government brought in the amended act to appoint Election Commissioners in 2023 to heavily favour the Centre.
