Western Railway Prolongs 6 Summer Special Train Services Till Sept 2025 – Check Details
Railway authority announces continuation of special fare trains to address increased passenger demand during peak summer travel period.

Mumbai: Western Railway has announced the continuation of six pairs of special fare trains through September 2025 to accommodate heightened passenger traffic and ensure travel convenience during the summer months.
Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, disclosed that multiple train services will see their operations extended beyond their original schedules. The Bandra Terminus-Bhavnagar Terminus Special (Train No. 09207) will continue running until August 15, 2025, while its return service (Train No. 09208) from Bhavnagar Terminus to Bandra Terminus will operate until August 14, 2025.
The weekly Bandra Terminus-Gandhidham service (Train No. 09415) has received an extension until August 14, 2025. Its counterpart, the Gandhidham-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special (Train No. 09416), will also continue operations until the same date.
Two additional services connecting Bandra Terminus and Udhna will see longer extensions. The Bandra Terminus-Udhna Superfast Special (Train No. 09055) and the Udhna-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special (Train No. 09056) will both maintain their schedules until September 30, 2025.
Several daily unreserved special services have also been granted extensions through September 30, 2025. These include the Gandhigram-Botad service (Train No. 09211) and its return journey (Train No. 09212), the Gandhigram-Bhavnagar daily service (Train No. 09215) along with its return route (Train No. 09216), and the Dhola-Bhavnagar connection (Train No. 09529) with its corresponding return service (Train No. 09530).
Ticket reservations for the extended journeys of Train Numbers 09207, 09208, 09415, 09416, 09055, and 09056 will become available starting June 6, 2025, through both PRS booking counters and the IRCTC website.
