Vikram Bhatt’s Office Rocked by Data Theft Scandal, Employees Accused of Selling Confidential Discs

Mumbai’s Versova police have booked two employees for allegedly selling hard discs and misusing mobile phones belonging to filmmaker Vikram Bhatt’s production company, VSB Production LLP. The accused, Jitendra Sharma and Rakesh Pranigrahi, are facing charges after discs containing raw movie footage went missing from Bhatt’s Andheri West office.
According to the FIR filed by production manager Nasir Khan, Bhatt and his wife noticed the missing discs in March 2025 and suspected account manager Pranigrahi. Surveillance revealed Sharma, who worked under him, controlling access to the discs. In September, executive assistant Mohit Kumar learned from Sharma that the discs were sold to a third party for ₹5,000–₹6,000 each, allegedly under Pranigrahi’s instructions, with profits shared between the two.
