Suspicious Activity Prompts Detention Near Zeeshan Siddique’s Office in Mumbai

Mumbai – Two individuals were apprehended by police on Thursday night after being spotted loitering near the Bandra office of former MLA Zeeshan Siddique. The detention comes in the wake of heightened security concerns following the murder of Zeeshan’s father, former minister Baba Siddique, who was fatally shot near the same location on October 12, 2024.
Authorities from the Nirmal Nagar police station took the two men into custody after observing their suspicious behavior around Siddique’s Kherwadi office. Upon questioning, the individuals, hailing from Sangli, explained they were seeking financial assistance from the former MLA due to losses incurred in their small spice business. They had waited outside the office for several hours hoping to meet Siddique but were informed by his staff that a meeting was not possible.
