Mumbai Braces for Light to Moderate Rain Under Partly Cloudy Skies

Mumbai: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted partly cloudy skies for Mumbai on Wednesday, with light to moderate rainfall expected in the city and its suburbs over the next 24 hours. According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, issued at 8 am, the maximum temperature is likely to reach around 34°C, while the minimum will hover near 27°C.

The weather agency noted that rain or thundershowers are expected toward the evening or night. For the next 48 hours, the IMD predicts similar conditions, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of light rain or drizzle. The Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai also highlighted the possibility of gusty winds accompanying the rainfall.

In its seven-day forecast, the IMD indicated that rain or thundershowers are likely to continue in the afternoons or evenings throughout the week. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 33°C and 35°C, with minimums between 27°C and 28°C. The weather department has advised residents to stay updated on alerts due to the potential for varying rainfall intensity.
