‘There Have Been Attempts To Defame Me’: Aaditya Thackeray Responds to New Allegations in Disha Salian Death Case

Mumbai: In a fresh twist to the controversy surrounding the death of celebrity manager Disha Salian, her father, Satish Salian, has approached the Bombay High Court, urging a renewed investigation into her tragic demise. The petition claims that Disha, who fell from a high-rise building in Mumbai on June 8, 2020, was a victim of rape and murder, and it specifically calls for a First Information Report (FIR) against several individuals, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray.
In response to the allegations, Aaditya Thackeray remarked, “There has been an attempt to defame me for the past 5 years. The matter is in court, and we will discuss it there. Whatever happens, will happen,” according to a report by Lokshahi Marathi.
Disha Salian, known for managing several Bollywood celebrities, has long been at the center of media attention, particularly after her death and the earlier case involving actor Sushant Singh Rajput. While initial investigations by the Mumbai Police did not indicate foul play, persistent demands for a more thorough inquiry have kept the case in the spotlight.
The Bombay High Court has acknowledged the petition, and a hearing is expected to be scheduled soon. As the legal proceedings unfold, the public and media continue to closely monitor the developments in this long-standing case.
