Tesla Makes Its Mumbai Debut : First showroom to open in BKC ?

Elon Musk’s Tesla in preparing to open its first showroom in India. Us electric vehicle maker Tesla has finalised a deal to open its showroom in Mumbai. The location of the showroom is said to be in Bandra-Kurla Complex and its area is about 4,000 square feet on the ground floor. The deal is said to be finalised at Rs 900 per square feet per month, that is around Rs 35 lakhs per month for the entire space.
Elon Musk’s most awaited launch in india is said to be in progress in recent months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Us on an official trip. PM Modi had Elon Musk during his trip to US along with US President Donald Trump and other major diplomats.
Tesla’ car to cost around 35 lakhs ?
According to an report, Tesla is said to consider of importing cars from Berlin and would sell the cars in India. Tesla’s initial plan is said to bring an EV to India for less than $25,000. The price of Tesla cars in the US starts at $35,000 which converted in rupees goes around Rs.30.4 lakhs, at the factory level. The cheapest car in the company is The Tesla Model 3, which costs starts from $38,900 and the cost goes up to $54,900.
However, no as such official statement is said to be given by the company .
